Movement, music, jazz, improvisation, ambivalence have always been an important influence on my work.
In the series "Standing in the Waters of Memory," paintings reference that focus but have moved beyond.
In these new works, lightness has emerged. Light from darkness. Light spills, envelopes, pushes through and simplifies in its wake.
